Two motor yacht ranges are recorded for Thomasz Yachts B.V.: the Thomasz 35 with years of construction from 2002 to 2008 and the Thomasz 38 AC from 2020 to 2024. Both ranges have been discontinued. They are insured nevertheless, because with us the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners rule nothing out.
Between the seasons a motor yacht usually lies ashore. The cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and while in transport. Damage in winter storage is already covered by the limited hull cover, together with fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat.
In operation the full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the contract is concluded online, and above that an individual review follows.

Frequent questions
Is there cover during craning?
Yes, craning is included, as are launching, transport and the time in winter storage. Damage in winter storage already falls under the limited hull cover, as do fire, storm and lightning strike.
How does taking out cover work for higher values?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros it works online. Above that we review the individual case and prepare an offer that is tailored to the particular vessel.
