Three ranges run to the present day, one ended in 2011. Whether taken over new or bought second hand plays no part in access to cover: we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners and, in full hull cover, agree an agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards; races with ranking status you declare when taking out the policy. For cruises across the border we issue the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages. Hull cover applies with no time window and no night clause.

How does the premium differ between sailing boats and motor boats?
On sailing yachts the sail area enters into it, on motor boats the engine output. Type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range count in both cases, the brand by contrast never.
Are races with ranking status covered as well?
Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards. Races with ranking status you declare when taking out the policy; then they are expressly taken into account in the contract.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
