YOT Power Catamarans; cover, cost and conditions
In build since 2023 is the YOT Power Catamarans 41, listed as a cabin catamaran and the only recorded range. A multihull needs its space ashore. Our cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and in transit.
Limited hull cover takes on fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard and indemnifies according to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Because production continues today, it is usually a question of new or young boats, and they are insured regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that we examine the individual case.

Yes, damage in winter storage belongs to limited hull cover.
Can a new boat be insured online?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros, yes. If the value is above that, we examine the individual case. An existing previous policy we cancel free of charge.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

YOT Power Catamarans 41 is a cabin catamaran from YOT Power Catamarans, built since 2023.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
