Once the agreed value is set, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), and in the Premium tariff full hull cover applies without an age limit. The scope includes collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, supplemented by the benefits of limited hull cover.
Both ranges have been discontinued, so purchases are made on the used market. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and the premium results from the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. Because compensation is based on the agreed value. Whatever was taken into account when the value was determined is part of the sum protected.
Which benefits does limited hull cover include?
Fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts are added with full hull cover.
