How the place works
The Stadlandet peninsula juts into the open sea with no sheltering skerry belt. Northwesterly swell, wind and the coastal current meet there, and the passage is the one place on the way north where you cannot go inside.
What breaks there
The loading is short but high: slamming into the sea, water over the deck, damage to fittings and windows. Anyone who misses the window waits for days, and anyone who does not wait files a claim afterwards.
